Description

Brand: Stephane Ogier
Origin: France
Grape: Syrah
Taste Note: Deep garnet-red, the wine opens with seductive aromas of raspberry, cassis, and dark cherry layered with violet and savory hints of coffee, smoked meat, and charred beef. The palate is medium to full-bodied, muscular yet graceful, with ripe tannins lending both power and finesse. Complex notes of dark berries, cocoa, and crushed rock unfold seamlessly into a persistent, velvety finish — a Côte-Rôtie of remarkable depth and elegance with outstanding aging potential.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested grapes, 100% destemmed. Vinified in stainless steel, then aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which are new.
Sommelier Advice: Perfect with refined dishes such as herb-stuffed quail, veal chop with girolles, or rosemary-grilled lamb cutlets. Best served at 16–18 °C. Ideal for cellaring 10–15 years to reveal its full depth and complexity.
