Description

Brand: Maison Le Nid
Origin: France
Grape: Gamay noir with white juice
Tasting Note: This wine has a beautiful ruby-red color. The elegant nose offers a blend of red and black fruits, including cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry. On the palate, it is fleshy, full of fruit, fresh, and harmonious. The body is supple, featuring silky tannins. This Moulin à Vent is ready to drink now but also has excellent aging potential, lasting 10 to 20 years. We recommend decanting the wine before tasting.
Winemaking Process: TANKS — Stainless steel vats of 60 hL to refine plot selection, MACERATION — Traditional wine-making, partial destemming and alcoholic fermentation with a maceration of approximately 15 days, AGEING — In oak casks over 10 months, PICKING — 100 % by hand, SOIL — Moulin-à-Vent Terroir is made of granite soil
Sommelier Advice: Perfect pairing with Veal, Pork, Poultry, Pasta, and Cured Meat. We recommend decanting the wine before tasting.
