Description

Brand: Maison Le Nid
Origin: France
Grape: Chardonnay
Taste Note: Elegant and full of charm, this white wine offers a beautiful, deep golden color, with green reflections. The nose is pure, well-defined, with a pronounced fruity.
Character: white and yellow fruits. The bouquet is completed with mineral notes and particularly the discreet Flint presence. Under opulent features, the structure is straight, favored by good natural wealth. Finesse and distinction characterize its minerality.
Winemaking Process: The Chardonnay grapes are pressed, and no sulfite is used. Cold fermentation for 4 to 6 weeks. The use of natural yeasts allows the grapes and the terroir to express themselves. Aging for 12 months on fine lees in French oak barrels. Location: clay-limestone soil in the Solutré village. A great vintage of minerality and deliciousness.
Sommelier Advice: This Pouilly-Fuissé is ready to drink but also has great aging potential: 6 to 8 years old. Serving temperature: 11 to 13°C. Pair perfectly with vegetarian, pasta, and cured meat.
