Winemaker Story
" A bottle of Dom Perignon always contains a unique vintage champagne, meaning that it is always made from the fruit of only one vintage and never a blend of vintages. "
Dom Perignon was founded in 1668 by Pierre Perignon, a Benedictine monk. Dom Pérignon estate in Hautvillers, France. It is where the legendary champagne was created over 300 years ago. Dom Perignon is quite mineral with mature fruit tasting notes. It has a characteristic acidity to it that often lingers on with spicy taste notes. The wine is dry, with a solid rounded palate.
