Description

Brand: Domaine Mas Des Armes
Origin: France
Grape: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon
Taste Note: Red dark color with red/brown reflections. Explosive nose, the impressive aromatic palette with aromas of cedar, mocha, black olive tapenade, fresh figs, and balsamic notes (do not hesitate to swirl your glass to aerate the wine). Opulent palate with velvety and peppery sensations. Rich and powerful, with very fine tannins. A nice long finish.
Winemaking Process: The plots for this cuvée are vinified separately. Hand harvesting is followed by destalking and meticulous selection. Part of the Syrah is vinified with whole berries. After the free run, the wine ages in an oak barrel for 15 months. 1 year of maturing in a bottle stabilizes the wine before it leaves the cellar.
Sommelier Advice: To be served at 16°C with grilled rib roast or cheese
