Description

Brand: Chateau De L’Ou
Origin: France
Grape: Syrah
Taste Note: Cassis, chocolate, licorice, smoked herbs, and ample minerality all emerge from this full-bodied, sexy beauty that just begs to be drunk. Possessing ripe tannin, a stacked mid-palate, and a great finish, it will be better in a year or two and keep for a decade.
Winemaking Process: The grapes are carefully checked on a sorting table. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are done in the French oak barrel. This wine matures for 14 months in a barrel to bring structure and complexity to the wine.
Sommelier Advice: Roasts, game in sauce, blue cheese, gourmet salads (giblets, liver), chocolate desserts, etc.
