Description

Brand: Domaine Du Trapadis
Origin: France
Grape: Grenache noir, Carignan, Mourvèdre
Taste Note: This wine has a garnet red color with some brown hues. Full body and spicy mouth. Red fruits characteristics. The tannins are soft. Long and elegant finish
Winemaking Process: The harvest is entirely manual and carefully sorted. The grapes are destemmed, then lightly crushed. The alcoholic fermentation takes place slowly by the yeasts of the land. A pumping over is carried out every 4 days to favor infusion rather than extraction. Fermentation lasts 20 days at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. The wines are aged in cement vats on fine lees for 20 months. A part (10%) is put in barrels to increase the aromatic complexity.
Sommelier Advice: This red wine can be paired with any type of meat, grilled, roasted, braised, or stewed. Beef, pork, game, duck, lamb, sausage, veal and Asian dishes.
