The Ogier family has been rooted in Ampuis for seven generations. From the age of six, current owner and winemaker Stéphane knew he wanted to follow in his winemaker father’s footsteps. The Ogier’s wines is generally intense and slightly tannic, recalling the character of the Syrah and Viognier he has been working on for years. From his experience in Burgundy, Stéphane Ogier retains the taste for elegance and finesse that has become characteristic of his wines.
